Biomarker-based companion diagnostics are becoming an integral part of the design and development of new targeted therapies. Genpathway collaborates with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to discover, identify, and validate mechanistic, disease-related biomarkers for companion diagnostic tests that are linked to targeted therapeutic drug candidates.

Genpathway is the only company that develops disease-related biomarkers using ChIP-based sequencing technologies. Our approach to biomarker discovery differs from the current generation of molecular-based RNA/gene expression approaches in that we measure DNA-protein interactions or gene-regulated events within the cell nucleus to elucidate the causal pathways of disease and/or the predictive pharmacological action of potential drugs. Our novel biomarkers have the potential to enable more accurate prediction and assessment of disease, prediction of drug response, and treatment selection and monitoring for individual patients.
